Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette: Review And Swatches

If you’re not familiar with the beautifully talented makeup goddess Jacyln Hill, where have you been hiding?! Seriously, this woman is the perfect example of how hard work pays off. Like many, I have watched her YouTube career sky rocket from when she first started filming YouTube videos in her kitchen, to where she is now. Her bubbly personality and genuine makeup tips, tricks and product reviews, is what attracts her “Hillsters” (as she calls us) to her channel linked here.

BECCA Cosmetics has once again teamed up with Jaclyn to produce the Champagne Collection, and today I will be sharing my review on the Face Palette from this line.

To begin the white and gold packaging is TO DIE FOR! It’s durable and luxurious, which to me, just screams Jaclyn and I love it! Inside, the palette has a generous sized mirror which I love for on the go. It includes 3 blushes and 2 highlighters.

The top row showcases 3 rich coloured blushes. From left to right we have “Rose Spritz”, “Amaretto” and “Pamplemousse”. All three are extremely pigmented and a little goes a long way. Amaretto, is the most versatile because it can be used as a blush or contour shade.  However, out of the three shades Rose Spritz’ is my favourite because of its beautiful reflective properties. It leaves my cheeks with the perfect sun kissed glow.

The bottom row houses 2 highlighters. The classic “Champagne Pop”on the bottom left, and beside it, the newest shade “Prosecco Pop”. I already own Champagne Pop, which happens to be my ride or die highlight, so naturally I purchased this palette because of my curiosity for Prosecco Pop. Champagne Pop is the perfect peachy, golden highlight, whereas Prosecco Pop is a true gold. I love mixing the two together, creating a custom colour which is out of this world gorgeous! Becca has perfected their formula and in my opinion, these are THE BEST highlighters on the market. They last all day and like I said before, a little goes a long way!

This face palette retails for $59.00 Canadian on the Sephora website and launches online May 26th and in store on June 16th.

Overall, I do believe this palette lives up to its hype and is worth every penny. I am so proud of Jaclyn and she continues to inspire me beyond belief. Check out her “Daytime Glam- Soft Smokey Cat Eye” video down below to see this lovely palette in action.
