I spent 5 days in Dubrovnik this summer and I’m already dreaming of the day I get to go back. Everything about my Croatian experience was beautiful. From the food, culture, views, hospitality and hotel, it was nothing short of a dream and it’s my pleasure to share it with you.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the outstanding Royal Blue Luxury Hotel. This hotel is planted on the edge of the Adriatic Sea and a 15 minute bus ride from Old Town. It is apart of Importanne Hotels & Resort, who own 4 other exquisite hotels along side of The Royal Blue. When you stay at one hotel, you have access to all of the other hotel’s amenities including pools, restaurants, gyms and spas. This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. There is no other word to describe it but magical! The sunsets and 360 degree views from the rooftop were breathtaking.
Where To Eat In Old Town
- Azhur (Be sure to book a reservation)
- Dalmatinos (The mussels in a creamy white wine sauce are a must try!)
- Dolce Vita (for a sweet treat)
What To Do
We spent most of our time at the resort and getting lost in the streets of Old Town. If we had more time I would of loved to take the cable car up the cliff, walk the city walls and go on a boat tour of the beautiful surrounding islands. If you are a Game Of Thrones fan, there are a ton of tours offered that showcase all their filming spots!
Have you ever travelled to Croatia? I’d love to hear your recommendations down below, as I am dying to go back and explore more of this beautiful country!
