Ever since I was young, I dreamed about visiting Positano. Something about this little ¬†city carved into the beautiful mountain side captured my heart. I did SO MUCH research before visiting this past summer and it was totally worth it and needed in order to navigate to and from this magical place. Today I am sharing all the details with you and I hope they are helpful in planning your dream getaway ūüôā Transportation There are several ways to get from the airport to Positano and Praiano: Bus:¬†http://www.curreriviaggi.it/eng/autolinee.htm Ferry :¬†https://www.alicost.it/en/ Car Rental:¬†www.auto-europe.com Private driver: This is what my boyfriend and I opted for. Yes it is the most expensive option, but it was also the easiest for us. We didn’t have to worry about navigating our way around with all our luggage and in my personal opinion it was totally worth the extra expense. We organized a private driver with our Air bnb host and it cost us 120 euros each way. Accommodation All though I would of loved to have stayed in Positano, it …

A Dream Vacation In Dubrovnik

I spent 5 days in Dubrovnik this summer and I’m already dreaming of the day I get to go back. Everything about my Croatian experience was beautiful. From the food, culture, views, hospitality and hotel, it was nothing short of a dream and it’s my pleasure to share it with you. Accommodation My boyfriend and I stayed at the outstanding Royal Blue Luxury Hotel. This hotel is planted on the edge of the Adriatic Sea and a 15 minute bus ride from Old Town. It is apart of Importanne Hotels & Resort, who own 4 other exquisite hotels along side of The Royal Blue. When you stay at one hotel, you have access to all of the other hotel’s amenities including pools, restaurants, gyms and spas. This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. There is no other word to describe it but magical! The sunsets and 360 degree views from the rooftop were breathtaking. Where To Eat In Old Town Azhur (Be sure to book a reservation) Dalmatinos (The mussels in a …

How To Conquer Venice In 2 Days

Ciao! It’s official, Venice stole my heart! There is a reason this place is so famous. ¬†Venice is unlike any city I’ve seen, as travel is done on foot or boat only. ¬†There is so much rich history to experience and explore.¬†Every small alley you walk down is so charming and romantic, making it that much harder to put down the camera. Below I’m sharing all the details of my Venetian holiday and tips to help you plan your stay. Where To Stay Location, location, location! I stayed at Hotel Concordia, which is a one minute walk to Saint Mark’s Basilica. We were able to get a decent deal here and breakfast was included. If you plan on going in the summer I highly suggest booking a hotel at least 5 months in advance to get the best deal possible. Summer is peak tourist season in Venice and the better hotels tend to sell out quickly. What To See/ Do¬† St. Mark’s Basilica Take a gondola ride (prices range from 80 to 120 euros depending …

The Best Of Copenhagen

Denmark is said to be one of the top ranked happiest countries in world and I now understand why.¬†The lifestyle, people, food and culture are truly amazing. They value a cultural construct called Hygge,¬†you can read all about it here. This concept really shows in their laid back lifestyle and their value of togetherness with friends and family. I loved all the architecture and life the city has. In this post I’m sharing all the attractions and restaurants I went while there. I hope this helps you plan your visit to Copenhagen. Where To Eat Breakfast- Atelier September (get the avocado toast) Brunch- Baryl (The blogger’s plate is the best brunch I have ever had) Lunch- Kebabistan (Visit the Norrebrogade location, it’s the best) Lunch/ Light Dinner- Smagsloget Dinner- Barburrito (Order the shrimp tacos, you’ll thank me later) Sweet Treat- Munchies What To See …

High Tea On Saturday

My best friend and I decided to catch up this afternoon at a new tea house located in Elora, Ontario. The Secret Garden Tea House¬†is by far one of the most unique high tea places I have visited. From its cheery staff, exclusive tea menu and decadent desserts and sandwiches, it is a must stop destination that will leave you tinkled pink. I highly suggest stopping by and trying their Strawberry Field¬†tea and homemade melt-in -your -mouth scones. The amount of detail and thought that went into the atmosphere truly stands out, and is absolutely beautiful. This is the perfect spot for a girl’s day out and would make the cutest venue for a bridal or baby shower. Xo Britt¬†
